Year 6 Primary Progression Day at Golborne High School

Dear Parents/Carer,

Year 6 pupils have been invited to attend a Primary Progression Day on Friday 24th September at Golborne High School. 

The children will experience lessons delivered by the teaching staff at Golborne High school and take part in fun activities delivered by Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles.

Children will walk up to Golborne High school for lessons to start at 9.00am and will leave the high school at 2.45pm for their return to school. Therefore, we will need the children to be at school for 8.15am and will return by 3.15pm for collection.

The children need to wear their primary school P.E kit for the day and bring a coat/hoodie for outdoor activities. 

 A mid-morning snack will be provided. The children can either take a packed lunch with them or £2.50 if they wish to buy their lunch in the school canteen. Children who are entitled to free school meals will be provided for.

During the day, there will be a number of occasions when photographs will be taken for displays within Golborne High School and an Open Evening. Please indicate on the permission slip below if you wish your child to be photographed or not to be photographed.
