School Travel Plan

Walk To School Week - Mon 15th May to Friday 19th May

This week the children of Lowton West have been talking part in Walk to School Week.
The Lowton West School Council organised and delivered assemblies to both Key Stage 1 & 2 this week to talk about the important benefits to our health and the environment by walking to school. The School Council children were very confident and clear were delivering their parts. Well done!
They have also been organising and running the Walk to School Passports that they have been stamping for each child in every class if they have walked to school this week.
his information will help the School Council with the School Travel plan they are working on at the moment.
Miss Green and the School Council would like to thank all the children and their families who have made an extra effort to walk to school this week.

Parking on Chapel House Mews and Chester Avenue

The police have been into school to discuss car parking on Chapel House Mews and Chester Avenue as they have received several complaints from local residents in relation to this. We would be grateful if parents would park considerately on Chapel House Mews, Chester Avenue and in the local area. Please avoid blocking driveways and pavements. The police will be attending these areas regularly and will be monitoring car parking. If anybody is found to be obstructing the road, driveways or pavements, then the police will be issuing obstruction fines. Thank you for your anticipated support in this matter.
