Year 5 & 6 Trip to Blackpool Winter Gardens

Dear Parents/ Carers,

Year 5 and 6 have organised a trip to The Winter Gardens in Blackpool to watch a theatre production of Billionaire Boy to support our Literacy this year. The Friends have very kindly offered to pay for the coach for this trip, leaving a cost of £8.00 per child only, which has been heavily discounted from the original price.

The date for this trip is Friday 13^th March. The coach will be leaving school at 9.00am prompt and returning to school for normal finishing time. Please could we ask that your child is dropped off at school for 8:45am.

 

We do recognise that in this current financial climate school trips can be costly and it is for this reason that the Friends of Lowton West are assisting with the cost of the coach. Unfortunately, if we do not receive enough money then the trip may not go ahead.

 

We would appreciate it if you could please sign the slip below and also complete the ‘Parental Consent’ form and return it with £8.00 to cover the cost of the trip as soon as possible, but no later than Friday 14^th February.

 

Information regarding the trip:

 

• Please could your child wear full school uniform.

 

• All children will need a packed lunch. Your child needs to bring it in a disposable carrier bag clearly labelled with their name.

 

• Please remember no fizzy drink, cans or glass bottles are allowed. 

 

• The children must not bring any money on the day.
