School Council Governor Visit

On Friday 8^th December, the School Council had the pleasure of a visit from their School link Governor, Mrs Marie Blewitt. Mrs Blewitt told the children about her role as a governor in school and was very eager to meet all the children from Year 2 - Year 6.

The Year 6 children started the meeting as usual by taking the attendance then introduce themselves and their roles as the senior members of the School council.

The children updated Mrs Blewitt on what they had achieved so far this term, which included Fun Friday ideas, Children in Need Competitions and assemblies and Premier Sports suggestions and the impact they had seen in school.

Mrs Blewitt observed the children discussing their next project - updating the playground markings and signs around school. She was very impressed with the way in which the children were able to give excellent suggestions and work together as a team to discuss such important issues.

Well done to all the members of the School Council, you were amazing ambassadors for our School.
