Eco Day 2015
Pupils at Lowton West have celebrated Eco Day this year with a wealth of activities. Pupils had a great day and enjoyed a special assembly, led by Mrs Dulhanty and the Eco Team, all about the projects they have worked on over the past year. Children have learnt about ‘Bio-diversity’ with ‘Butterflies’ as a key topic for this year’s Eco Day.
Over the past few weeks, each year group has been carefully observing their ‘Butterfly Hatching Kits’, kindly donated by the ‘Friends Association’.
All children took part in planting seeds in the new school garden with Mrs Pouncey. A great day was had by all children and staff.
